The Office of the Chief of Staff for Mayor O’Brien
Resident Assistance: Providing centralized points of contact for residents to seek information, report issues, and access borough services through phone, email, or in-person visits.
- Complaint Resolution: Handling resident complaints and concerns related to borough services, policies, or personnel, and facilitating resolution through appropriate channels.
- Information and Referral Services: Offering assistance to residents in navigating borough government services, programs, and resources, and providing referrals to external agencies or organizations when needed.
- Community Engagement: Serve as a liaison between the mayor's office and the community, engaging with residents, community organizations, and stakeholders to address concerns and gather input.
Executive Support: Provide direct support to the mayor in various capacities, including scheduling, correspondence, policy development, and representing the mayor at meetings or events when necessary.
- Representation and Advocacy: Represent the mayor's office in meetings, conferences, and public forums, advocating for the city's interests and priorities.
- Legislative Affairs: Monitor legislative developments at the local, state, and federal levels, and advise the mayor on policy implications and advocacy efforts.
- Special Projects and Initiatives: Oversee the planning and implementation of special projects or initiatives identified as priorities by the mayor, which may involve collaboration with external partners or stakeholders.
- Policy Development and Implementation: Assist in developing policies and initiatives, and oversee their implementation across various city departments
