Veteran’s Mental Health Helpline
A mental health helpline has been established by the NJ Division of Mental Health Services for veterans returning from duty. The toll-free number provides immediate assistance to veterans suffering from emotional or psychological distress, as well as those having difficulty re-assimilating into civilian life after their mobilization for active duty service ends.

Sayreville Veterans Honor Roll
Veteran must be or have been a resident of Sayreville while serving during Wartime or Conflict.
Veteran or family members of Veteran must present a copy of a DD-14 form, or other suitable documentation showing name of Veteran and home of record during enlistment or war time service
The Sayreville Veteran’s Alliance reserves the right to review and approve all applications.
Veterans’ names are not listed alphabetically.

Veterans Buy a Brick Program
The Borough of Sayreville, in conjunction with the Sayreville Veterans Alliance are now accepting applications for Veterans Memorial Bricks. These Memorial Bricks will be permanently installed as the Veterans Memorial which is located at the front area of Borough Hall.
Memorial Bricks are currently available at a cost of $50.00 each and can be personalized with a maximum of three lines of 13 characters per line.
The Bricks are placed randomly at the discretion of the Veterans Alliance.
Memorial Bricks can be purchased in the name of any honorably discharged US Military Veteran who:
- Served in the Military while a resident of Sayreville
- Served previously in the military and is currently a resident of Sayreville

MIDDLESEX COUNTY VETERAN'S SERVICE CARD
A courtesy service card is available in the Middlesex County Passport office to all veterans in acknowledgement of service rendered to the United States of America.
- Original DD-214 must be recorded with the County Clerk.
- Proof of name and address in Middlesex County in the form of a driver's license, business mail, or property tax bill.
- Married females requesting ID cards listing a name other than what appears on their DD-214 must also show supporting document showing legal name change.
- Passport Office hours: Monday-Friday 8:30 am - 3:00 pm.
Veteran’s Advantage Booklet
This booklet contains names of businesses and companies that offer a discount to veterans with proof of military service. The list was obtained from http://www.veteranprograms.com.
Please check the website for current or expired offers. If your DD-214 is already recorded with the County Clerk, please contact us…we will mail one out to you!
