Grass Collection
May 2 to September 30

 


General Guidelines
   *Grass is not accepted as a trash item.
   *Grass must be placed in a covered, sturdy container (max 32 gallons).
   *Grass placed in any type of bag(s) will not be collected.
   *Containers must have two handles for easy lifting.
   *Weight per containers cannot exceed 30 pounds.
   *Containers must be clearly marked "Grass Clippings".
   *Do not mix with any other waste.
   *Place containers at curbside by 6am on the designated collection day.
   *NO landscape barrels.



Weekly Schedule
MONDAY:
Morgan section, Appletree Village, Morgan Heights, Oaktree East, Parkway Homes, Sayrewoods, Miara Street, Genus Court, Bordentown Avenue from Hole in the Wall to Burlew Place, La Mer, Patriot Hill and Spinnaker Point.

 

TUESDAY:
SayrePark, Lower Sayreville (including lower Pine Brook), Natures Walk, Horseshoe Road area, Tangletown, Sayreville proper, Heritage Woods, Winding River, Rivers Edge, Melrose and Sherwood Forest.

 

WEDNESDAY:
Munn's Village, Pillar Drive, Hilltop/Kenneth/Lee Avenues, President Park, Johnson's Lane, Washington Road (Truman Avenue to Parkway Bridge), Washington Village, Green Valley, Oaktree West, Oaktree North and Towne Lake.

 

FRIDAY:
Laurel Park, Ernston Estates, Ernston Hill Estates, Woodside, Old Bridge Section (Bordentown Avenue from VFW to Cheesequake Road).

 

Parlin Area:
North Edward Street to end of Deerfield Road, South Edward Street to Guest House, White Oaks, upper Pine Brook, and Washington Road (both sides from Guest House to Riverside and Marchut Court).

You may also bring your grass to the Recycling Center during the following hours: Mondays & Fridays from 7:30am-2:30pm and the 1st & 3rd Saturday from 7:00am-12pm.


Holiday Collection
If your grass collection day falls on a holiday it will be picked up the following week.
