Request for Letters of Interest and Resumes from Professionals

 

 In accordance with the “fair and open process” under the New Jersey Local Pay-to-Play Law, the Borough of Sayreville is soliciting Letters of Interest and Resumes from qualified applicants for the positions of:

  1. Borough Attorney, Engineer, Auditor, Prosecutor, Public Defender, Bond Counsel, Tax Counsel, Labor Counsel and Appraiser.

The Letters and Resumes will be evaluated by the Borough Council on the basis of that which is most advantageous to the Borough, taking into consideration the following factors:

  1. Experience and reputation in the field.
  2. Knowledge of the subject matter.
  3. Availability to attend all required meetings.
  4. Availability of personnel, facilities, equipment of other resources to provide such services.
  5. Qualifications and experience of personnel.
  6. Any other factors demonstrated to be in the best interests of the Borough of Sayreville.

          The following documents must also be included in the packet:

  1. Compensation Information.
  2. New Jersey Business Registration Certificate.
  3. Affirmative Action Information.
  4. Disclosure of Ownership Statement.
  5. Proof of Insurance.
  6. Non Collusion Affidavit.
  7. All other documents as required by New Jersey Law.

All Letters and Resumes must be submitted to the Office of the Borough Clerk,
167 Main Street, Sayreville, NJ  08872 no later than 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 6, 2007.
