The Community Development Block Grant Committee is responsible for the planning, oversight and administration of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), a program federally funded by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The Borough of Sayreville anticipates recieving $62,256 of Community Development Block Grant Recovery (CDBG-R) funding through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act 2009. The Borough of Sayreville proposes to use the funds to expand the 2008 Morgan Area Improvement Project.  Please see the following links for additional information on the project.

A public hearing on the proposed plan will be held on May 26, 2009 at 7:30 during the regular meeting of the Mayor and Borough Council at the Sayreville Borough Hall, 167 Main Street, Sayreville, NJ 08872
