Open House Planned for The Point at Sayreville on Thursday, March 31st from Noon to 8 PM at SayrevilleSeniorCenter
O’Neill Properties, Developer of the Former National Lead Site, Will Present Site Plans and Detail Vision for 453 Acres Along RaritanRiver
O’Neill Properties, which is developing The Point at Sayreville on the former National Lead property off Chevalier Avenue in Sayreville, invites the community to attend an open house at the Sayreville Senior Center, 423 Main St., on Thursday, March 31 from Noon-8 p.m.
The purpose of the forum is to update the community about the ongoing environmental clean-up of the property, as well as redevelopment plans for 453 acres overlooking the RaritanRiver and RaritanBay.
“In recent months, we have been working with the Sayreville Economic and Redevelopment Agency to fine tune our plans for the property and we will be welcoming any questions that residents may have ” said Brian O’Neill, Jr., project manager. “This open house is an ideal opportunity to discuss the redevelopment plans for the former National Lead Site and to discuss enormous benefits of our plan for the people of Sayreville.”
As part of the eight-hour open house, in which residents are encouraged to drop by when convenient and stay as long as they wish, the developer will be available to answer questions. In addition, architects, engineers and other professionals who have been directly involved in the design phase will be discussing the plan. Refreshments will be provided.
The Point at Sayreville has been designed under redevelopment guidelines the Sayreville Economic Redevelopment Authority established. The plan includes retail, dining, homes at varying price points, a waterfront promenade, office space, entertainment venues and over 70 acres of conserved land.
